About the hotel
The history of the hotel dates back to the 14th century, when a monumental palace stood in this place, which housed the Archbishop of Mainz Ludwig. It is with Archbishop Ludwig that the Lesser Town legend about the eagle, which Ludwig helped when he returned from his travels, is also connected.
